Oh yikes. Thanks for that link, Mark. Reading it reminded me that we're talking about higher stakes issues such as rape and lack of reproductive rights. How do we, as a society, let those things happen? How do we, as individuals participate, even if indirectly in the kinds of behaviors that add up to condoning these things? What is biological about these events? What have we evolved beyond?
